SEAPA Clips

The SEAPA Clip has evolved over time as farmers have adapted their use of the SEAPA basket and have moved into more aggressive farming conditions. Changes have been made to improve the durability of the clips in rough conditions and to improve the ability of the clip to remain on the line in all conditions. In rough conditions, it is not unusual to see SEAPA baskets spinning completely around the line, but the SEAPA Clips just hold tight.

 SEAPA Extended Clips

The SEAPA Clip is available in a standard size or as an extended clip (15mm longer), this allows extra room for handling when wearing gloves. The extended clip is available in the standard 10.8mm clip size as well as a 9mm clip size.

SEAPA Flexi Clip

SEAPA Flexi Clips have been designed to reduce wear by absorbing energy and also provide farmers with the option of hanging baskets across their lines. The Flexi Clips provide baskets with a distinctly different movement and also reduce lateral movement (‘walking’) when hanging along the line.

 SEAPA Multipurpose Clip and Axle

The SEAPA clip used in the Multipurpose range utilises a separate axle to assist with wear prevention in the basket mesh clip housing. Any wear resulting from rough environmental conditions is transferred to the relatively inexpensive axle, which helps to prolong the life of the basket.

SEAPA Riser Clips

Our Riser clip has undergone a number of modifications since it was first designed. Based on feedback received from farmers we have made a few small, key changes to the riser in order to improve its ability to hold the line, whilst still allowing for quick and easy adjustment.

Double Riser Clips

The Double Riser clip has been designed with both calm and rough conditions in mind. In areas that experience calmer conditions, the riser lightly holds the line in place; this helps to take some of the ‘battle’ out of changing line heights. In areas prone to rough conditions a trigger can be added, which gives the Double Riser a far more aggressive hold. 

The double riser is also less prone to wear as the ‘sawing’ or ‘rocking’ action experienced with standard (single) riser clips is reduced. 

High Energy Yoke and Plate

The High Energy Yoke and Plate Assembly has been designed with the same principal as the Multipurpose SEAPA Clip in mind. In very rough conditions, this helps to reduce wear in the basket mesh, therefore prolonging its life. The yoke spears through the top of the basket mesh and is anchored inside by the plate, a SEAPA clip can then be housed in the top of the yoke.  In some cases this is also combined with a Flexi Clip for maximum performance and reduced wear.
