New SEAPA Multipurpose Baskets

The new Multipurpose Basket is the latest quality offering from SEAPA. These baskets have been designed for farmers looking to stock at higher densities or to provide existing stocking densities with more room and a bigger, flatter growing area. The basket design is based on our current Longline Range, which benefits from over 10 years of experience in the oyster industry. Further innovations in design and durability have also been realised through extensive in-house and field testing.

Multipurpose Baskets have an assembled width of 400mm, height of 220mm and come in 3 lengths; 650mm, 850mm and 1100mm. As the name suggests, these baskets are compatible with a variety of different growing systems including adjustable longline, fixed rack, subtidal laddering, and floating systems.

While this product is based on technology used for growing oysters, it is also suitable for the culture of other species and has been creating quite a bit of interest in a number of differnt areas.
